Blogging With One Hand
on 7 December 2008 - 647 viewsAwww I’m injured! It was quite a gross scene actually…
I know John Chow has recently wrote posts about him blogging from hospital while he was admitted but this is definitely not a parody or a copy of what the blogging mogul did. And by the way, I am typing with one hand so pardon me for any typos. It is really a hassle and trouble when it happens on your muster hand. There are one million and one things that I found difficulty doing.
Here’s what happened… I was walking as per normal enjoying the scenery around without realising there was another person right in front of me. I was pretty sure he did not realise I was behind him either. Now here comes the accident… He swung his arm so hard that it hit my badly. Adding to that “disaster” was the sharp object that he was holding onto and it pierced right into my hand. Well, I shall not elaborate further on that because you can probably imagine the outcome!
Ouch!
Hmm.. now its probably gonna take some to recover. Guys, I will still try my best to continue posting! No worries on that. Just show me some mercy..

I hope you feel better soon. Take lots of pain pills take full advantage of the extra attention the bandage gets you. That’s what I do when I get hurt.
Thanks for your concern Brian!
Giving my right hand a good rest for it to heal.

Ouch, had my foot broken ten years back, I can understand what it means. Well at least you can still blog.
Shucks.. That must have hurt badly!
Hi Ben,
Sorry to know you got injured, at least you can still continue with your blogging activities.
I got a broken in 2 femur when a car hit me when I was 8 years old and being in the hospital, so I really know what it feels.
Get well Ben
Hey Luis,
Thanks for your well wishes!
Hey Ben,
thanks firstly for visiting me at my blog, secondly your blogs are outstanding and I hope you get to full strength soon.
I am six weeks into knee reconstruction and I know how frustrating it can be. Well the best thing is to give it a rest and that way you will be able to get back quicker.
Why not talk into a recorder and save those inspirational moments.
Hey thats a good idea.. But I don’t wanna lost touch with my readers..
Ben,
When I saw the title I had thought you found a great keyword phrase ‘Blogging with one hand’ to share with us. Sorry to hear that my friend and hope you get better.
Peter Lee
Aww I wish it was a good keyword phrase.. Thanks anyway!
Hope you would have recovered by now Ben. By the way, I guess you have gotten your custom theme. So much better than the previous one. All the best in 2009. Perhaps this is a chance to do some JV in the near future since we are both Singaporeans =)
Wei Liang
Thanks Wei Liang! Sure, I look forward to some JV with fellow SGs too. By the way I hope you will be able to take a photo with the shirt I am sending to you and post about it on your blog!
Hi Ben,

Ouch, that does sound painful. Maybe now would be a good time to invest in some speech recognition software.
It sure did. Lol are you marketing it?
That sucks .. I cut my thumb off in a ban saw once .. doc put it back on and it took a year to learn how to use my hand again .. it’s amazing how one hand accident can suck so bad LOL
