One Man’s Junk Is Another Man’s Treasure

What does a guy do when he’s got a great website but doesn’t have the time to run it? He pawns it on to some other guy who wants to try and make a buck.

Do I know anything about running a website? nope, not a thing. Do I know anything about making money? Well, I’m working on it.  Here’s my experiment: Take the income the website generates from advertising and affiliate sales and hire a couple smart guys to run the site. If all goes well, traffic will increase, I can charge more for advertising and can pat myself on the back for thinking of a great way to make a couple of bucks while employing some nice people.

Here’s my staff:

Tech guy: Paul Incitti has 20 years of experience in internet, ecommerce, product mangagment, and multiple level emarketing.  He has successfully built and/or consulted on all forms of online marketing from simple one product ecommerce store strategies and multiple product/service sites to affiliate programs for current massive catalog companies, bringing them all from concept to fruition.  He is presently running a cultural products affiliate and social networking program that includes all email marketing, as well as article marketing blogs and consulting on all marketing projects/programs for 400 affiliates.  He looks forward to sharing his thoughts, successes, and methods on legal monetization of the web.

Blog writer: Menucha Zimmeman is a full-time SEO with two years of experience in online marketing and content writing/writing for the search engines.  She has optimized and consulted on websites from all different niches including medical technology, travel, home improvement, real estate, and online appliance retailers.  She has also written content for a variety of sites, amongst them vacation rentals, ecommerce, software and technology, and travel.

This is an excellent idea.Sharing responsibilities with your staff will allow you to be more productive with the things you enjoy doing. I can’t afford to hire a staff quite yet but when I will keep this in mind for the future.

Sharing your responsibilites is an important part of being successful in any business. However it is a hard thing to do, especially for “a” type individuals who like to do everything for themselves.
