EASY! Of coz the answer has to be easy… But if you’re talking about creating a sellable or resourceful ebook then there are lotsa work waiting for you.

I am in the midst of creating my own branded version of “How to make money blogging” ebook that includes the basic setup of a blog, to monetizing it, to the SEO work you need to do. I am still thinking whether I should sell it for a price, if so, I would probably work on throwing a few other packages as well. Any comments on this?

You should have seen many gurus writing their own ebooks and becoming rich by selling them, or rather having others to sell for them. Honestly, most of these ebooks that I came across are nothing but books that you have paid for, asking you to pay more in it.

Here’s an example:

- You bought an ebook that claims to teach you how to make money online at $47
- Then in it, it says what you are getting from this book is a the beginning, for more advanced tips please get this make money online booster. All yours at only $97 instead of $97..Take note that this offer is up for a limited time only!

You end up paying an extra $97 without learning anything from the $47 you paid earlier on. Most, I mean MOST ebook writers claim that they have gotten so much success from the things they are doing, but how sure are you with regards to their success? Postng a beach getaway photo doesn’t mean they are successful. What we want from an ebook is real solid content that we can implement into our own lives and business, am I right to say this? We do not need to hear how successful the ebook writer has been!

So, having this in mind while I am generating my very own ebook, I place my potential readers over my monetary returns. Having a large base of loyal readers, the money will come automatically and there is no need for you to go “Hey buy this.. its good!” I prefer relating personal experience in helping others build up their own success.

Now, how do you go about creating an ebook?
I am going to share with you some simple steps that you can use to create your very own branded ebook. Assuming you have done some research and selected your own niche,

1) Type your content and lay them out properly using MS Words as if it is like a physical book. It should come with a Book Cover with Title and Author’s name, a content page and you can add in a disclaimer and copyright page if you like. I think you should..

2) Search for PDF Conversion softwares at Download.Com – These softwares convert MS Word documents to PDF format, which is the standard format for ebooks now. You can also lock your file so that others cannot edit your content without your permission.

3) Once you are done with the conversion, you’re done with the ebook! So its time to create an ebook cover so that you can promote it on your blog or website. I personally use Box Shot Maker to create my ebook cover because it only requires two simple steps.
