I believe you will see this title in most of the blog on this special New Year’s day but heck, I am joining in the fun too! There are also a lot of post indicating that Google has updated their PR recently and I hope you guys witnessed a growth. Too bad I didn’t get my expected PR this time round but nevertheless, I will never stop giving here.
Looking back at 2008…
I started Pei Profit Dot Com in the 3rd Quarter of 2008 and I believe it has grown quite a bit in this short period of time. Not only has the blog grown, my friend list grew, my blog community grew and my senses on blogging grew as well. Let me share some stats with you and help me witness this because I want to see even better results in 2009.
Monthly Visit/Pageview
This is what encouraged me the most in the month of Dec 2008. Monthly visit has grown from 16,552 in month of Nov 2008 to 25,530 in Dec 2008. Pageview has grown from 74,939 to 106,475 too! Well, I am happy to witness this growth in readership at least.
Twitter – 500+ to 730 Followers (You May Click Here To Follow Me)
Alexa – 200,000+ to 130,756
Technorati – 86,000 to 38,000
Listed and Ranked No. 22 on 45n5’s Top 100 Blog List – Something that I’m really proud of!
Blog Income Report Dec ‘08
Private Ad Sales/Reviews: $480.00
Google Adsense: $89.31
Affiliate Programs: $299.52
Total: $868.83
I am rather contented with this earning for this month considering that most people have been cutting advertising cost for Christmas. I hope to hit a constant 4 figures in 2009!
What are my plans for 2009?
I hope to reach out to more blogging friends out there, no matter what niche they are from and to bring my name out to the community, not to be like John Chow or Shoemoney, but BETTER than them! Haha, I know it takes time but I am still gonna do it.
I also hope both my RSS Subscribers and Twitter Followers will hit past 4 figures as well. Now, am I hoping for too much? Most importantly, I want my friends and family members to stay healthy and lucky. My well wishing goes out to you guys and your family as well. =)

Hmm that no. in my stats is for visitors only. Meaning it includes unique and returning visitors. Well, I am not sure, at least thats what the graph says.

wow Ben you got impressive traffic in here which averages like 800 visits per day. I am still trying to break the 400 visits per day and you are having double in here. Looks like your blog is growing exponentially daily. Great work.

Wow Ben, you’re just way more big time than me, but it gives me something to shoot for. Those are great numbers, and for such a short period of time no less. My blog is just over a year old, but I must admit that it took a long time to hit my stride. I’m obviously hoping for a great 2009 myself, but I’ll have to say that 2008 was very successful because I met a great group of people, including yourself, through blogging.
