Sure you do! But how many of you actually make it at that age? But my friend Michael Dunlop has managed to do so and he is sharing his personal journey from a college drop out to a rich kid down the street who has retired at 21. What was he secret technique? Make money online.
And so he claims “So what even if you are already over 21?” The internet business and online money making opportunity knows no boundary.

The unique section that I found on Michael’s blog was a Top Young Blogger List that he compiled and the name speaks for itself, it ranks a whole list of bloggers are under 21 according to their success and popularity. You would be as surprised as I was to realise that many of the blogs that you have been reading, commenting on and even learning from are run by teenagers below the age of 21. Well if you are below 21 and aspire to be a pro blogger, you should head over and pin your name on the list. If you’re above 21, go and witness and get inspired by how these young fellows managed their blogs.
Another cool thing on his blog was the addition of a forum. We have talked so much about forum marketing and here’s a chance to market yourself in one more forum. This forum consists of sections discussing on blogging tips, internet business, web design and some other tech stuff which I guess is most helpful to many of you out there. Judging from the amount of active members on the forum, I had no second thoughts about signing up as one myself. You should too! So much for the good words, I guess it could be made better with some additional topics like SEO and Linkbuilding. Michael, if you’re reading this, I hope it adds on to your forum!

Lastly, I would mention his big collection of interviews with many other successful entrepreneurs who make money online. One of which being Darren Rowse of Problogger.net, definitely added some authority to Michael’s work. Speaking from personal experience, it isn’t an easy job to secure an interview session, especially with some big shots. I especially love this interview with Darren because of its interaction. I guess thats something which you will not find on his problogger.net. Nevermind about revealing any secrets on making money blogging, which you can easily find on his blog, it is through Darren’s words about how he went from zero to hero that inspires me. You won’t want to miss this interview out at RetireAt21.com.
So dear readers, what do you think of Michael’s blog and are you inspired to retire by 21 if you could turn back the hand of time?

Man if i could turn back time.. knowing what I know now about life.. dang skippy i’d be looking at retiring at 21.
I toss the name of this book out there alot, only because it really was responsible for kick starting my venture in internet marketing. It’s called Get Real – Get Rich, The 7 lies blocking you from success! There’s a link on my blog but it’s an affiliate.
I don’t want u all to think i’m pushing it so you can search for it at amazon etc..
Now i’m off to read the interview you mentioned!
Nice post!

I did visit Michael’s blog months back and it’s a good blog. He seems to have matured thinking even at an early age and that suggests this could be a character of a potential millionaire blogger in the making. Quite inspiring when I read his blog.

Actually if I remember correctly he did say he has passed 21 so my guess is 22 or 23. Still pretty young.

Heheheheheheh……retiring at 21 would require a fair bit of back-tracking on my behalf…..what I would like to know is how is he defining retirement? Surely such a mind can’t be left idle at such a young age already?

Though I’m already over 21, I would like to be able to retire at 31 (later this year!)
Health wise, I don’t have until I’m 90 to keep plugging away at this – I would like to be able to finally live, travel and take care of myself.

i regularly contribute to digital point forums and there was a 15 year old boy who had made over 100K this year from creating and selling small catchy video games that were distrubuted by bloggers and gamers and contained advertising. It was genuine as a number of respected bloggers had confirmed the figures. It shows proves you point that the online enviornment know no boundaries
